There is a huge lack of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people and Women in the Airline Pilot Industry.

One of the biggest problems facing the aviation industry is a genuine lack of diversity. This is due to a systematic lack of support and real opportunity in the Airline Pilot industry.

 

A new kind of partnership

Fantasy Wings is bringing together Pilots from leading airlines, aviation professionals and flight training organisations and together we are going to add diversity to the cockpit. 

Through a combined effort of Fantasy Wings, airline pilots and leading aviation organisations, we are able to offer an exciting and proactive programme to launch BAME people and women into the aviation industry.

Making real opportunities

Determined to make the aviation industry an exciting, fresh and diverse career path, The Fantasy Wings programme was developed for the benefit of BAME groups and women wanting to get into the Aviation Industry.

Career Mentoring

As part of our programme, young people will be mentored by those in industry on a programme designed to upskill them and prepare them for a career in Aviation

Pilot
Training

All participants of the programme have the opportunity to win full sponsorship of their Private Pilots License – 45 hour course.

Career Conversations

This will be facilitated through seminar style sessions where through our staff and partners in industry we will have open and targeted conversations designed to provide real insight and the knowledge needed to enter the industry.

Annual Conference

Bringing together Pilots, Industry Professionals, Government officials, Educational Leaders and graduates of the programme to discuss the industry, We will also expand and talk about industry wide successes, problems and further development opportunities.
