Air Race Youth Ambassador Roles

Hi All,

We are now opening up applications for the 6 Ambassador roles we will be giving away in partnership with the Air Race World Championships (https://www.wcairrace.com)

Over the 2022 season, Air Race Youth Ambassadors are invited to participate in work experience tasks that can contribute to their long-term CVs and hands-on corporate skill development by working with an international organisation.

• Remote tasks would be entry level based within specific aviation themes. For example, youth engagement, quality inclusion, diversity & Air Race STEM programmes.
• Onsite tasks would be shared amongst Ambassadors across Aviation, Aero Sport and Legacy at the Goodwood race or as required as Sywell Aerodrome.

– Tasks may include support to Air Race departments (grid control, race control, racetrack operations, race airport, technician team, Air Race STEM programme etc.) as well as hosting other Fantasy Wing members during the race weekend (airport tours, Fantasy Wing seminar).

•  Potential career progression within Air Race as seen with Red Bull Air Race intern who is now acting Air Race Aviation Manager and current Sustainability & Legacy Manager who started volunteering at Red Bull Air Race.
•  Agreed upon remuneration for projects and work. With the potential to be invited to assist at other international events.

• Direct mentoring, coaching and access to Air Race crew and professionals.

• At the end of the season, Air Race Youth Ambassadors will be awarded a G-Flight experience at Sywell Aerodrome.

We will be giving away 6 Ambassador Roles within the Air Race World Championships.

5. What is your long term career aspirations and what work do you do on a daily basis to achieve these goals
